Revelwood Smart Choice *FOR SALE*

Level:
Prelim Eventer, Jumping 1.10m, Schooling elementary

Details:15.3hh, 8 year old Thoroughbred gelding

This is a really cute young horse. I bought him purely based on his movement, with a big floating trot, a 12inch overtrack in walk and a balanced canter I figured that if nothing else I could have him as a dressage horse. That he is a brave, scopey jumper with a huge back end was just a bonus. Sadly though, with my uni and work commitments, he has to be sold.
This horse has the ability and the temperament to really 'make it' as a performance horse. He is very reliable in the dressage, very bold and easy cross country and all the scope in the world for the showjumping. He would ideally suit an ambitious young rider looking for their first 'serious' horse.
He is well mannered on the ground, easy to catch, shoe, clip, load onto a truck or float etc.
For sale to competition home only as I don't want his talent to go to waste.
$12,000 ono video and more photos to come.

Obie

Details:16.2hh Thoroughbred gelding

'Obie' was a recent purchase of mine. He was an impulse buy from the sales. He looked far too cute and quiet to go to the doggers, so I put up my hand! Sadly, it was only two days after buying him that I broke my ankle, so all plans to train him up and find him a home have been put on hold! I did manage to have two rides, he was incredibly green, but seemed to be very willing and very trainable, with a lovely big trot and a balanced canter. He also had a little trot over some poles, and seemed to catch on very fast, so all in all I'm quite proud of my new purchase! Now I just have to wait to get back on him and continue his education!

Hexagonal

Level:
Intro Eventer

Details:11 year old Thoroughbred gelding

Owner and Rider:Jo Westbrook

'Eddy' is a lovely little horse. He is by the famous 'Octagonal', and looks just like his daddy. Although racing was clearly not Eddy's thing, he is showing huge promise as an eventer.
He and Jo have been taking things slowly, getting his confidence around newcomers. He has now been 'upgraded', and finished off 2010 in style, with a 3rd place in his first intro event at Berrima, and will have his first prelim start at SIEC in February, where he will no doubt shine!
He has a lovely trainable temperment, an awesome jump, and is showing glimpses of really flash work on the flat. Watch out for him in the future!

Agent 86 aka Tonto

Level:
Prelim Eventer

Details:Warmblood gelding

Owner and Rider:Kirsten Sherry

'Archie' is both talented and quirky! He has personality plus, sometimes appearing to live in his own little world. He is a seriously impressive jumper, with a HUGE back end! While he doesn't always enjoy his dressage schooling, (and often lets Kirst know about it) he is actually able to produce some very nice work. 'Archie' was bought a few years ago and the pair have been building a lovely partnership. They look set to step up to prenovice this year and I have no doubt they will be very successful!

Moonerang

Level:
Currently Prelim Eventer

Details:Thoroughbred mare

Rider:Aimee Grimson

'Mooney' is a seriously talented mare. She previously evented to two** with Morgan Crane. She has a huge heart and gives everything her all. She is a brave, honest jumper. A little hot on the flat, Aimee has to be a quiet, sensitive rider, and luckily for both, she is! This pair are also looking set to step up to prenovice in 2011 and gain confidence at this new level.

Travelling Wilbur

Level:
Currently Newcomers Eventer

Details:Thoroughbred gelding

Rider:Johanna McGrath

'Wilbur' is a real gentleman. He was another of Morgan's two** horses, and is now showing Johanna the ropes. He is honest and kind, a dream horse for any young rider starting out in eventing. Despite being a small rider, on a very big horse, Johanna is very much in charge of this pair and a really talented rider. Having only competed in two events thus far, they have managed to score well in the dressage, always jump clear cross country and clear showjumping, with time penalties being the only thing keeping them out of the placeings. As they progress in confidence and experience it will be exciting to watch them climb up the levels!

Chief

Level:
Ready to start competition

Details:Thoroughbred gelding

Rider:Bronte Mednis

'Chief' has really been there and seen it all! He is such a kind horse, and a great confidence builder. Previously he has evented to prelim, and it is now his turn to introduce another young rider to the world of eventing. At home, he and Bronte have been working on their partnership and are ready to come out and hit the competition scene this year. Together at home they are confident, capable jumpers and both give their all in everything they do.

Annie

Level:
Training at intro level

Details:Thoroughbred mare

Rider:Melissa Furguson

'Annie' did not have the easiest beginning to her life, but since the move to HBP she hasn't looked back! With her previous rider she evented to prelim, and can seriously jump! She is a rather opinionated mare but with tactful riding, she is rewarding and sweet. Mel and Annie have been working on their partnership, and the rewards have been huge. The dressage has come along in leaps and bounds, and the jumping is growing in confidence all the time. With any luck they will soon be joining us at competitions as a formidable team!

Isaac

Level:
Training at intro level

Details:Thoroughbred gelding

Rider:Camille Dennis

'Isaac' is definitely a character! He has previously evented to one* with Morgan Crane, as well as being a reliable school horse. He and Camille get on well together and are looking promising as they slowly chip away at improving the flatwork. Isaac may not always be the most enthusiastic participant in the flatwork, but he really tries hard for Camille and they have recently been having some big breakthroughs. They will be exciting to watch!
